Friends of the Darkness

Stories cross over. So do we.

This page is a small constellation of people, projects, and places that orbit the same dark sun I do.
These are creators, booksellers, filmmakers, artists, and allies who help carry horror, suspense, and
strange fiction into the world. We trade signal-boosts, cross-links, and the occasional unhinged idea.

If you found me through one of them, good. If you discover someone new here and fall down their rabbit
hole for a while, even better. That’s what this page is for.

How this page works

  • Everyone listed here agreed to cross-link and help signal-boost each other’s work.
  • Most are horror-adjacent: dark fiction, genre film, art, indie bookstores, podcasts, and review sites.
  • Links may change, sites may move, and people may pivot—as artists do.

Friends & Allies

An indie shop that actually stocks the weird stuff on purpose. Shelves full of horror, crime,
speculative lit, and staff who know the difference.

Long-form conversations about horror, trauma, and why we keep going back to the things that scare us.
Interviews, deep dives, and late-night energy.

Indie filmmakers specializing in psychological and slow-burn horror. Think tension, atmosphere, and
endings that don’t explain themselves.

A review blog focused on horror, thrillers, and dark literary fiction. Honest takes, spoiler-light
breakdowns, and plenty of TBR damage.

Want to be added?

If you’re a bookseller, podcaster, filmmaker, reviewer, librarian, or creator working in or around dark
fiction and horror, I’m open to cross-linking.

Send a short note with who you are, what you do, and the link you’d like listed to
DarkFictionAuth@gmail.com. If it fits the tone and serves readers, I’ll gladly shine a
little flashlight your way.

Small print in the dark

All external links listed on this page lead to independently operated sites. I don’t own, control, or
continuously monitor their content, policies, or opinions. Following any link is your choice and your
responsibility. I share these connections in good faith, but inclusion here is not a legal endorsement,
guarantee, or certification of anything beyond: “I think they’re doing interesting work.”
